Residential

Networking
Diode Communications technicians would be happy to help their customers by setting up a small office network or even a home network. Many people have more than one computer in their house that they would like Internet; why not have us set it up while we are there? We can set up wired networks, wireless networks, or even mix them so your house will be networked for years to come.

DSL
Available to those in select areas of our phone exchanges of Diller and Odell. Diller Telephone DSL also includes local phone service as well as 100 free minutes of long distance calling. DSL works on the same principle as your telephone. Data is sent over your phone line (even when you’re using it to talk) at a very high frequency that you couldn’t possibly hear. It’s on that frequency where the data for internet is put and then retrieved later by the internet equipment that needs it. This is how you can use the internet and the phone at the same time, unlike dial-up. Give our office a call at 402.793.5330 to find out more information about Diller Telephone’s DSL Internet!

Fiber to the Home
Available to the Villages of Diller, Odell and Harbine. Diller Telephone’s Fiber to the Home Internet also includes local phone service as well as 100 free minutes of long distance calling.Fiber to the home (FTTH), also called “fiber to the premises” (FTTP), is the installation and use of optical fiber from a central point directly to individual buildings such as residences, apartment buildings and businesses to provide unprecedented high-speed Internet access. FTTH dramatically increases the connection speeds available to computer users compared with technologies now used in most places. Give our office a call at 402.793.5330 to find out more information about Diller Telephone’s Fiber to the Home Internet!

Hebron Cable Modems
Available to the community of Hebron, Nebraska. We employ state of the art cable modem technology to provide high speed data transmission over our new Cable TV (CATV) infrastructure. In other words, instead of connecting to the Internet via telephone line or some other means, Cable modems allow you to connect through the same coaxial cable that provides Diode Telecom cable services to your home or business.  Give our office a call at 402.793.5125 to find out more information on Diode Telecom’s recently updated Cable Internet!

Exede

Exede is our new satellite Internet service that we offer.  It is very similar to our previous Wildblue satellite service, but Exede allows for much faster speeds to help meet the growing Internet bandwidth needs of our customers in remote areas.  Installation is only $99 when signing a 2 year contract.  We offer three different packages to cater to our customers different needs.

Package             Monthly  Price                    Data Limit                 Download Speed/Upload Speed

Exede 10                     $49.95                        10 Gigabytes                                 5Mbps/1Mbps
Exede 15                     $79.95                        15 Gigabytes                                 5Mbps/1Mbps
Exede 25                   $129.95                        25 Gigabytes                                 5Mbps/1Mbps

As you can see by looking at the new packages, the speed is now the same for all packages, the difference in the packages is the amount of data that you get to use each month.  To help protect your new equipment, we do still offer our monthly maintenance plan for $4.95 per month.  Something that is also new with Exede, is the ability to purchase 1 extra gigabyte of data per month for $10 in case you ever happen to get close to your data limit.  Whether you are a current Wildblue customer or you are a potential customer looking for more information, feel free to give us a call at 402-793-5125 for more information!
